Our process

A five step approach to financial planning.

Tailored to your goals and revisited as your life changes. Each step closes before the next one opens, which is what keeps a plan from drifting.

  1. 1

    About 15 minutes

    Questionnaire

We begin with a set of questions to determine how we can best assist you and serve your interests.

  2. 2

    About 1 hour

    Data gathering

While we gather information, we work together to establish precise expectations and devise a customized financial strategy that suits your needs.

  3. 3

    About 1 hour

    Plan collaboration

We review your financial situation against your questionnaire to determine whether your goals align with your capabilities.

  4. 4

    About 1 hour

    Implementation

Once the plan is finalized, we present the proposed steps needed to achieve the goals and expectations established during our consultations.

  5. 5

    Ongoing

    Plan review

Now that the plan is operational, we review and modify it as necessary according to your changing goals and life situation.

“A fiduciary standard means, basically, put the interests of the client first. No excuses. Period.”
Jack Bogle

What you receive

A plan, and the reasoning behind it.

Recommendations without reasoning are just instructions. You should be able to explain your own plan to someone else.

A written plan

Cash flow, tax exposure, retirement income and estate structure, documented in one place rather than scattered across statements.

The trade-offs

Every recommendation has a cost. We show you the options we considered and the ones we chose against, and why.

A review cadence

Plans age. Yours gets revisited on a set schedule and whenever your life changes faster than the calendar does.

Step one takes about fifteen minutes.

It starts with a short set of questions and a free conversation. Nothing to sign.
